Pat a Koala at 2pm daily for $4.50.

Situated 9 kilometres north of Newcastle, Kooragang Nature Reserve is the largest single estuary wetlands reserve in NSW. Especially bird watchers will enjoy the vast variety of 190 species that are found in the area. Boardwalks make it easy to explore this intertidal world and to get and glimpse at the majesty of once luxuriant rainforest.
